Paramount Home Entertainment Star Trek

SCI FI and Paramount Home Entertainment joining forces to bring Trek Month to the SCI FI channel for the month of May 2009.

To celebrate the launch, Full Circle worked together with the home of the Star Trek series, SCI FI to develop a fully integrated on air and online solution that gave Paramount the opportunity to take ownership of the channel and leverage the substantial Star Trek content available to communicate this release to the Star Trek fanbase.

Trek Month was brought to life on-air with an increase in Star Trek programming throughout the month of May as well as special behind the scenes interstitials, quick fact trivia promos on Star Trek, a mini marathon for viewers on Friday and Saturdays and a competition.

Online, viewers knew where to get their Star Trek fix simply by logging on to scifitv.com.au where an animated splash page appeared with Trek Month and a trivia timeline. Once they clicked they were taken to the specially created Trek Month landing page where they could watch special behind the scenes video content, see all Star Trek programming information for the month of May, vote for their favourite episode and enter the competition.

As part of the celebration the SCI FI channel also created a viewer's choice vote for your favourite episode that was made into a special event to end Trek Month with the top three episodes played on 31 May as chosen by the SCI FI viewer.
