Wall - E Walt Disney Studios Pixar
Our Challenge - promote Wall-E, a new computer-animated, cosmic comedy by Pixar. Targeting the entire family and drive ticket sales at the box office.
Our response: This extraordinary animated feature deserved an extraordinary response. Using TV1's Comedy with Bite Full Circle created a special programming block exclusively for Disney (& Wall-E).
The re-badged and re-named Comed-E with Bite captured Disney's core family demographic and allowed them to integrate their own title treatment within TV1's high rating comedy block.
We integrated the loveable character into the channel brand and all program promotions to deliver stand out, total integration.
In collaboration with the Movie Network we also created an exclusive Sneak Peak. The Sneak Peak was a 5 minute program segment that featured interviews with the director and cast direct from Hollywood.
This 'mini feature' was pre promoted and played just prior to the Sunday night movie on Movie One and Greats in appropriately themed family movies.
As an extension, the Sneak Peak (featuring an in-depth insight into how the amazing animation was created ) was listed in the
Foxtel TV guide and
EPG.
